Giving Is Awesome Recipients {Sanibel Island Family Photographer)

Back in December, I participated in a nationwide portraiture giveaway for the holidays. I heard about Giving Is Awesome from another fellow photographer and I immediately wanted to participate. The lucky recipients received a photo session, free of charge, as well as a $300.00 print credit. The person who nominated the recipient received a $200.00 Shannon J. Dodge Photography gift certificate!

Between the holiday hustle and bustle and just life being busy in general (and my giving birth!), we had to put the session off until May. The day finally arrived, and the Rojas family had their long awaited photo shoot!

This family is SO sweet and pleasant. Every single one of them! The twins immediately came over to me and asked if they could help me carry my equipment. How awesome is that? I really enjoyed this session, we had so much fun!

Six Month Old Beauty! (Fort Myers Baby Photgrapher}

This baby is seriously the EASIEST child I've ever worked with! She is SO laid back and always willing to laugh or smile. What a sweetie! It's amazing how much she's changed in just 6 months. Click here to view her newborn session (and before she was born!).

As you can see, her mom had her style DOWN! I love all the girly girl stuff!

Welcome August James! {Fort Myers Newborn Photographer}

Meet our newest addition, August James. He was born Friday, April 3rd at 7:51am. He weighed 8 pounds even and measured 21.5 inches long. We had quite a scare with him at first--he spent the first week of his life in the NICU--but he has recovered 100% and is just perfect!

I have to admit, it's difficult finding time to photograph my OWN child! Here are a few shots from his second week of life. He's such a love!!

Hiatus

I guess since I am in my final stages of pregnancy, I should take a little break! Baby (it's a surprise!) is due to arrive on April 3rd via c-section. I won't be scheduling any new sessions until the end of May, so if you would like to schedule with me for that time, please do so ASAP! :)

The first family happens to be our friends AND our chiropractors! (they are an awesome team if you are looking for one) Can they all be any cuter? What a beautiful family!




After lots of rescheduling, we were finally able to get this next family together for a holiday photoshoot! Their mom has 5 children, and 3 still live at home, so you can imagine how busy they all are! Her children are gorgeous...
