Holiday Mini Sessions

They're baaaaack! They were a great success last year (especially for it being my first year in business!), so I decided to hold them again this year. I have quite a few people interested in these already, so if you are interested as well, book one ASAP!


Here's the deal:

• They are offered on Saturday, October 17th and Saturday, October 24th ONLY.
• There will be a 20-30 minute time slot PER client, so if you are late it will cut into your session. Please be on time! :)
  
• Sessions will be held in Downtown Fort Myers (exact location TBA) and Sanibel Island (by the lighthouse), respectively.
  
• $175.00 includes the following: your session for up to 4 people (add $25.00 for each additional person), a private, password protected online gallery of at least 10 beautifully edited proofs, 50 custom designed holiday cards and envelopes (5x7 Press Printed FLAT card--folded and trifolds are extra) OR one digital file on a disc (to make your own cards), and (1) 8x10. GREAT deal!
  

There are a limited number of spots available...first come, first served!

EDIT: I've had several requests for a digital file to print your own holiday cards. As a result, you can now choose either the 50 holiday cards OR (1) digital file!

Three Times The Fun!

I can't believe I'm just getting around to blogging this session!! I shot this session while vacationing in Michigan this summer. This is another one of my husband's cousins. She is so sweet and has such a beautiful family!








This guy is FULL of silly expressions!



Mom and Dad are high school sweethearts and obviously still so in love!




This really was just a quick kiss! No making out in front of the kids, now! ;)

Lovies {Fort Myers Family Photographer}

This lucky family is the recipient of a FREE family session! Back in the spring, I donated a gift certificate to my daughter's school for their annual fund raiser. Mom and Dad bid on the gift certificate at a silent auction and won. :) Yay!!!

Meet Emily. She is a stitch! So full of personality. She brought 'Punky' to me and asked if I could take some photos of her. This was her Mama's doll growing up. Of course I obliged!




She is such a little mama and wanted to take care of her little brother, Jake!

Jake was a tough nut to crack, but once he did, he was all smiles! (we took turns making funny faces and this cracked him up!)



His lovey's name is 'Cutie Pie'. This is one WELL LOVED puppy!!!



Their newest addition, Joey, is such a peanut! He was so sweet and laid back during the session. Look at that hair! I love it!

Love These Guys {Sanibel Family Photographer}

Meet some of our best friends, Lauren and Josh (and their beautiful baby, Jordan!). Eight years ago (YIKES!), I met Lauren in graduate school (I bet you didn't know I am a former School Psychologist and I went through THREE years of grad school and training to be one! it's serving me well right now...haha). I knew immediately we would become the best of friends! We had so much in common and our conversations were very fun and relaxed. We and our future husbands often hung out, played games, went ice skating and had dinner together. We had to be creative with what we did since we were all poor but we always had the best time together! I was in Lauren's wedding, and she was in mine. Despite the fact that we live miles away from each other, we still remain close. About two months ago (yeah, I'm a little behind), they visited us and also vacationed on Sanibel Island. Of course we had to squeeze in a mini session during their vacation! It was so much fun and Jordan was such a trooper!

I love to photograph feet. Just call me Tanner from last season's The Bachelorette (all you Bachelor fans know what I'm talking about!).

Fields of Gold

While planning our trip to Michigan, I had this vision to get some pictures of Emma in a wheat field. I told her she was going to do a photoshoot w/ Mommy and she was beyond excited. Once we arrived at the wheat field, she said 'where's the photoshoot? I want to go to the photoshoot!'. I told her she was at the photoshoot and she was the model. She obviously had something different in mind.

I often hear 'oh it must be SO nice to be a photographer and take photos of your children'. Disclaimer: not so much!

There was a lot of bribing and running around before getting some of this:

Which led to a bit of (cough)... bribing. **sigh**



When we told Emma we were going to get ice cream she said, 'I want blue ice cream'. We said, 'good luck with that'...guess we were wrong.



They had BLUE ice cream!



And lots of it...



Anybody have some wipes?



Moral of the story: sometimes you need to offer a harmless bribe to get what you want!
(don't worry, I only bribe to get that perfect photo...haha)

Sweeties! {Estero Children's Photographer}

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these kids. They are SO sweet, easygoing and generally easy to photograph! PLUS, how cute are they?!?!?

I've been photographing Bridget aka Bree since she was a newborn...in fact, that was one of my first paid sessions!
