Fields of Gold
While planning our trip to Michigan, I had this vision to get some pictures of Emma in a wheat field. I told her she was going to do a photoshoot w/ Mommy and she was beyond excited. Once we arrived at the wheat field, she said 'where's the photoshoot? I want to go to the photoshoot!'. I told her she was at the photoshoot and she was the model. She obviously had something different in mind.
I often hear 'oh it must be SO nice to be a photographer and take photos of your children'. Disclaimer: not so much!
There was a lot of bribing and running around before getting some of this:

Of course there was a lot of this:
Which led to a bit of (cough)... bribing. **sigh**
When we told Emma we were going to get ice cream she said, 'I want blue ice cream'. We said, 'good luck with that'...guess we were wrong.
They had BLUE ice cream!
And lots of it...
Anybody have some wipes?
Moral of the story: sometimes you need to offer a harmless bribe to get what you want!
(don't worry, I only bribe to get that perfect photo...haha)

Sweeties! {Estero Children's Photographer}
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these kids. They are SO sweet, easygoing and generally easy to photograph! PLUS, how cute are they?!?!?

Awesome Day in Northern Michigan
While on vacation in Michigan, I did a few shoots for my husband's family (my family too!).
This is my husband's cousin, his gorgeous wife and their beautiful boys. There is such love in this family!
They wanted their pics taken at this barn because it's where they had their wedding reception. I LOVED the location. It was just perfect for family pics!
The owners of this barn MAKE their own wine. Gotta love that.
Ok...onto the family.
This is Rene and Carly. They make such an awesome pair! They are beautiful people, both inside and out.
The boys were so much fun.

Bright and Cheery {Estero Family Photographer}
I love this family. They have become very good friends of ours. Despite the heat and humidity (AND bugs...gotta love southwest Florida in the summertime!), they were happy...errrr...hung in there throughout the shoot! They all have the most beautiful skin tone and eyes!

Aspring Model/Actress
Meet Laura. No grass grows under this girl's feet. She knows what she's doing and where she's going! She is my husband's cousin and when she asked me to snap a few "headshots" for her portfolio, I was more than willing! We had a blast together exploring locations in Frankenmuth, MI. This girl knows how to strike a pose!
